There is a shopping list on each weekly page that you can write on when planning and cut off when you go shopping. After each day of the week, you can tick off the list when you have all the ingredients at home.

How convenient that you no longer have to run to the supermarket every other day, unless you want to buy fresh ingredients. But even then, you no longer have to wander aimlessly through the aisles :)
